Welcome to the website of the Redistricting Group at Berkeley Law. The Redistricting Group was created to provide information, training and technical assistance for redistricting in California. During the California Citizens Redistricting Commission line-drawing process, we provided free access to computers and redistricting mapping software in six locations across the state. Our staff includes experts on line drawing, redistricting data, the Voting Rights Act, and more.

This website provides information about redistricting, with a particular focus on California. We include educational information and materials about the redistricting process, California’s Citizens Redistricting Commission, and how the public can convey information to line drawing officials about their communities of interests and neighborhoods.
